The dignity of labor is highly recognized there. Moreover, labor saves man from going to the wrong path. It also gives us self-satisfaction.

Dignity of labour indicates that you respect all types of jobs equally and don't feel that one job is greater than another. It is the most essential thing we all should develop, with reference to the growing problem of unemployment it is better being employed in something than remaining idle.

In no country is the dignity of labor better understood than in America. There the students do manual work during their vacation, to meet partly the expenses of higher education. Said Abraham Lincoln If the Almighty had ever meant a set of men that should do all of the eating and none of the work, he would have made them with mouths only and no hands.

Dignity of Labour in India. A nation cannot prosper materially if the people are not laborious. Labor is at the source of the power of nation. A nation that cannot work hard, nation that does not respect the dignity of manual labour lags behind the progressive nations.

The dignity of labour means that every kind of work is dignified. It also implies that dignity can be achieved only by hard work. The dignity of labour does necessarily cover manual labour I.e., physical labour or work done with hands. Great men have said that work is worship. The spirit of the dignity of labour has been niilpluccd in India.
